White Plains Passive House Affordable Housing

Updating tower-in-the-park public housing with new, community-facing architecture connected to its urban context.

174 units of affordable housing comprising 1, 2, & 3-bedroom apartments as well as amenities, community facility, and property management spaces. The concept for the building massing is referred to as, “The Frame.” Two larger, flanking volumes frame a setback, nested, central volume that contains the building entry/lobby, vertical circulation core including “active-stair,” and rooftop amenities.
